Today is about the sky in Hua Hin which has changed this week from a uniform startling, blue to some spectacular cloud formations which came rolling in. As I'm now experimenting with bracketing three shots together in order to get the best out of more difficult light. Yesterday I took several photos using that method. Here is one of the results.
I also edited another picture which was only the one exposure. Now I really don't know which one I like the best. Here is the single exposure edited only in Lightroom 5.
It is of course personal taste but I actually like the second image, maybe because it is simply one image without all the extra help I get from photoshop and it feels more real. However I also like the dreamy quality of the first shot, hmmm.
This last photograph is also a one shot image and the reason for this is that it simply didn't work for me the other way.
Most important and incredible is the extraordinary light show that nature produces daily and so much of the time we do not look, do not see. A few seconds to look up in the city, a few steps to the beach when on the coast and these wonders are there for all of us. I like to capture these images so that in my house I have spaces in the walls.
A couple of blogs are coming your way in quick succession. I've been busy and I am now almost ready to begin selling prints from the website. I've found a good printer in Bangkok so I will be able to offer both normal and archive paper. Plus it works out no more expensive to send the prints from here to wherever in the world. It has taken time to find my feet here in Thailand, especially as one was taken out of action for a while, but now I am making good progress.
Thanks for reading this blog, I hope you really like the photographs, and expect another read very soon.
